Great dinner and lovely setting. They have both indoor and outdoor seating but on a nice weather night the outdoor seating was just incredibly comfortable. Blueberry wine was nice. Pizza was nicely cooked and the crust was delicious. Good cheesecake to top it off. Service was great—waitress very friendly. Make sure to walk through the garden

Wow. If searching for a good dinner in Bar Harbor, look no further!!! This was hands down the best meal I’ve had during my entire New England trip. Sweet Pea’s was a lifechanging experience for my mom and I. From exploring the garden while enjoying our drinks (especially the Bea Bomb!!!), to our incredible meal, and the spectacular service from Ella, we were blown away! The pulled pork quinoa special and harvest pizza were to die for, along with the incredible tres leches strawberry shortcake, and from two foodies who were craving a healthy, nourishing meal in Maine, this was everything we could have asked for and more.

My husband and I knew we wanted to get married in Acadia August 2024 surrounded by our closest family and friends, and we were looking for a venue that felt outdoorsy, beautiful, and full of farmhouse charm. Sweet Pea’s checked every box. We took a leap of faith and booked without ever visiting in person—and we’re so glad we did. When we arrived for cocktail hour, we were in awe. Everything I had envisioned came to life perfectly—the setting, the tables, the food display, the drinks. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting everything, from the atmosphere to the incredible food. Christian mentioned I was one of the most laid-back brides they’d worked with (I only emailed maybe five times!)—because I trusted them completely from the first call I had with Christian. I dropped off a box of decorations and they worked their magic. Every detail was spot-on. Sweet Pea’s made our wedding feel magical, effortless, and unforgettable. If you’re thinking about booking—just do it. Our guests still talk about the atmosphere and food to this day.

My (now) wife and I first visited Sweet Pea's for a weekday lunch - the food was incredible and the vibe of the place unmatched. Such a lovely cozy space outside of the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor. A few years and several visits later, we were engaged and looking for a wedding venue...Sweet Pea's ended up being one of the best wedding decisions we made! Christian and his team were extraordinarily helpful throughout the whole process and helped us bring our (sometimes vague) vision to life. The property is lovely and allowed us to do everything from ceremony to dinner and reception in one place, the food was delicious and fresh, and our guests had a blast. We are so glad we used Sweet Peas for our reception dinner! Christian and his team provided the best service to our guests - they were warm, efficient, and attentive! Sweet Peas is the ideal location for an event - their site is beautiful, we loved that we didn't have to rent tables/chairs, and the food was incredible. We still talk about the Bar Harbor Blonde oysters from our cocktail hour! Throughout the night, their service went above and beyond - ensuring the fire pit and blankets were available for guests, unexpectedly offering hotty toddy's as the night winded down - we are so grateful the Sweet Peas team was part of our wedding day! We arrived early and sat right down, We watched the place fill up before we were finished. The service was great. The atmosphere is garden patio and very cozy. They had blankets for people's legs on a cold night. The food was amazing, the portions were right sized and the presentation was very nice. You can taste the love and care that goes into their dishes. A gem of a find. Enjoy!

I highly recommend this exceptional establishment in Bar Harbor, Maine. The beverages were outstanding, and the pizza was crafted to perfection. Their commitment to sourcing local ingredients is evident in the quality of their offerings. For anyone visiting Bar Harbor or within an hour’s drive, this restaurant is a must-visit. I love photographing weddings and elopements at Sweet Pea's! I've been there for more intimate elopements/weddings (one was about ten people, and the other for 100 guests, and all have run smoothly. I particularly love the al fresco dining that is possible for elopements (don't worry- if there's threat of rain, the table can be placed under cover). And the food is delicious and farm-to-table! This is the perfect spot if you want a ceremony in Acadia, but want a place to celebrate afterwards that feels special. Don't miss it!
